Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for? I installed this fuel sender on my 1981 Triumph TR8 to replace the original that had failed. The Rimmer replacement was manufactured by Smith's, the OEM of the original sender. As a result, the new sender fit and worked perfectly. I should mention that I checked several sources in the US and UK and only Rimmer had a replacement made by the OEM. I also ordered the rubber seal and locking ring from Rimmer; both are exact replicas of the original parts. I would highly recommend Rimmer for all replacement part needs.
