Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for? This is the first time I have used this type of tool. I followed the advice of one user who suggested covering the boot of the car with a thick towel folded over a couple of times, using a sheet of ply and a strip of 4x2 and you can hammer away to your hearts content (using your discretion). Hey presto job done and no marks on boot. Best to say you do this at your own risk but it worked well for me.
