The rubber components were well finished, although on my car it would be possible to push the T piece to far onto the stub on the air filter housing such that the stub pipe would project too far into the T piece and block the T branch. The time consuming part was cutting the tubes to length. They were quite stiff and I warmed them with a hair dryer attempting to straighten the curvature they arrived with. I started with both tubes slightly long and reduced their length about 5 mm at a time until the fit was correct. Between the final cuts the car was driven to get the tubes warm to help them conform to their new shape. Happy with the result.
