Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for? I have recently become just the second owner of a 1971 MGB that's completely original - never been restored. The door cappings were very tired, one with gaffer tape holding it together, so I bought a new set from Rimmer Bros. I was a little concerned that they would look out of place - "too new", but they don't at all. They were very easy to fit and fitted perfectly using the original brackets (although I bought a set of new screws).
