Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for? This replacement part was actually a better fit than the original part fitted by the factory when the car was new. It has a slightly smaller diameter that allows it to clear other items under the bonnet that compete for space. The original hose had split slightly, causing black smoke under hard acceleration at higher speed, and a lack of power. The new hose has cured the problem.
