Bought this just incase my original is bad

Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for?
I haven't installed it yet and it just arrived in today's post. As near as I can tell the original one from 51 years ago is still installed in the vehicle, 1970 Triumph TR6, so I purchased this one to have on hand just incase the original is no longer function, hasn't been started in 19 years, even if the original one is functional I may replace it with this one anyway.
