Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for? I was contacted by DHL to let me know that my order from Rimmer Brothers was being held due to import fees for the SU fuel pump. Why was it for just that item and exactly $52(USD)? I will never know. I have ordered this same fuel pump from Rimmer Brothers before and never had this issue. After paying the fee, I got my order. Good times!!! EVERY car in my fleet has needed (or appeared to need) a fuel pump. Two MGB roadsters, my sister’s two MGB GT’s, the spitfire and the TR7, (it turned out the TR7 didn’t need it after all), and the old Ford Bronco and the Fiat X-19. Sorry I was mixing my burgers and spaghetti in with my shepherds pie. The SU is an amazing fuel pump with a good reputation and longevity. I have one that is 52 years old, it works, but I don’t trust it because it’s 52 years old. The reason all the MGB’s need fuel pumps is because they were stolen by unscrupulous people in the past or replaced by previous owners with plastic body pumps with “superior pressure control with ultra quiet pumping action” And the plastic ones all crack and leak. Three different ones, all of them leak. Th SU is metal. Need I say more? Yes the SU makes a signature noise, but that it means it’s working! I love these pumps, and an MG isn’t an MG without that “click click click click” before starting up. Be aware if you are an American, you may have to pay the extra import tax, but it’s worth it.

Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for? The item worked well and installation was fairly straight forward. You have to use the protective original hard rubber mount from the part your are replacing. Wish a new rubber mount was included with the item.

Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for? It was for my MG C CT, the rubber grommet protect the fuel pump (often neglected). In this case it was an Hardi one, not exactly the same size than the original SU one, nevertheless il fit perfectly and quite easily. I'm unable to say anything about the durability of the grommet, only time would say what about it. Just what i wanted at the right price. I'm happy (and my car too)

Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for? For a Stag. Smaller than expected package, but looks the part. A while yet till I will get to fit it. Delivery 18 days to Australia - OK with that.
