Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for? A couple years ago I purchased 2 bonnet latches from another retailer (not Rimmer Bros) for my 63 Triumph Spitfire Mk1. From the beginning they were extremely hard to operate both opening and closing. I thought it was because my catches needed adjusting, but did not get around to investigating until recently. However, turns out the latches are very hard to operate even off the car (i.e. defective). No fixes I tried were successful, so I ordered some replacements from Rimmer Bros and they work great. Very smooth operation. Wish I had done it sooner. Plus, Rimmer Bros saved me almost $100 on my purchase and provided very fast shipping.
