Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for? I use this on the spare tire of my offroad travel van. It holds my traction devices, ground tarps, tent tarps and so much more. It makes it so I don't have to open the back doors as often. The only thing I changed is to add an additional ratchet strap around the tire and through the top two D rings for added security when I saw it slipping down a bit.
