Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for? I converted my 1969 TR6 to overdrive, so needed to change the column binnacle on the left side to accommodate the new overdrive switch. This escutcheon moulding is black and shiny, contrasting with my original cover on the right hand side. To match, I probably need to now buy the right hand side to obtain a uniform appearance. Overall, this was easy to fit and works perfectly in holding the overdrive switch firmly in place.
