Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for? Fitted a replacement to my TR6 as the original had damaged over the years. This new steering rack clamp is identical to the original but needed a slight squeeze in a vice before fitting to get the U bolt threaded ends at the correct spacing to slip through the holes in my chassis. Now successfully fitted to the car.
