2009 PRODUCTION - VINTAGE & PRE-WAR TRIUMPHS

The setting is Rockingham Castle for an outstanding turnout of Pre-1940 Triumphs ranging from a 1928 Fifteen up to the last of the line 1940 Dolomite Roadster.
Triumph produced their first car in 1923 - the 10/20 - but it wasn't until the "Super Seven" from 1927 that the company enjoyed their first success. Donald Healey was recruited a few years later and he is generally credited with the sporting image the company gained thereafter. Today we can still enjoy the sights and sounds of these wonderful vehicles as we take you back to a time when the Triumph Motor Company produced "The Finest Cars In the Land". Meet some of the owners and see the concours awards showing perhaps the best example of each model anywhere in the world today. Extra features are an extensive slide show of the day and previews of other Triumph DVD releases.

2011 PRODUCTION - PRE-1940 TRIUMPH MOTOR CARS

Following the success of the 2009 Pre-War & Vintage Triumphs production in 2009 we were approached by the Pre-1940 Triumph Motor Club to film their 50th anniversary celebration.
And what a celebration! It is believed this event holds the record for the most pre-1940 Triumph cars gathered in one location since the factory was destroyed in 1940.
Ragley Hall in Warwickshire provides a stunning backdrop to this glorious Triumph gathering.
To match the location and period of the cars many exhibitors enhanced the occasion by wearing 1930's attire which really gives us that feeling of nostalgia vital for a production such as this.
David Mason, Chairman of the Pre-1940 Triumph Motor Club, introduces this film with presentation and commentary by the renowned pre-1940 Triumph expert and specialist, Rob Green.
Rob takes us around many of the cars in the display to not only interview the owners but also to tell us the history of each individual model.
From a 1929 Super Seven to a last of the line art deco Dolomite Roadster this DVD is sure to appeal to everyone with an interest in classic cars.
