Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for? The spade connectors were soldered easily to the wires after the latter were clipped, stripped and tinned. The insulator fitted together round them correctly, with the assembled connector fitting the alternator pertfectly. Job Done! It took about 20 minutes in total to do the job properly. If you have not soldered before, it will take longer and you should practice on some spare wires and connectors first!

I recently bought a new alternator but discovered my car has 5 wires but the alternator has only three places to plug in. Do you have any instructions on how the wires should be connected? Thanks! Jon
