Triumph GT6 Steering
Triumph GT6 steering parts are listed here for all three marks. RHD and LHD rack variants are both stocked, so it is important to confirm your specification before ordering a reconditioned unit.
The rack mountings are worth attention too. Original rubber bushes soften the road feel over time and, once oil-soaked, they allow the rack to float. Polyurethane replacements firm things up considerably. There's also a solid alloy mounting kit for cars used on track, though that does pass more vibration back through the column. Your call depends on how the GT6 gets used.
Beyond the rack itself, this section covers track rod ends, column components and steering wheels. Mk1 and Mk2 cars had a steering column lock offered as a factory-fitted option, so column part compatibility varies by mark. If you're refreshing suspension or wheels at the same time, the GT6 Performance Upgrade Parts section covers polyurethane bush kits that complement steering rack work nicely.
Rimmer Bros has supplied Triumph GT6 steering parts from its Lincoln UK base since 1982, despatching to 195 destinations worldwide. Everything for the GT6 steering system is above.
