Moulded Carpet Set - 3 Piece - MGF - LHD - British Racing Green - RP1108BRG
The original Factory moulding tools are gone. However, new moulding tools have been developed and we can now offer you a brand new carpet set in a range of colours never available before. The original carpets did not fit that well, so certain areas have been modified to improve the fit.This kit includes the two main floor carpets and a matching rear bulkhead piece of carpet. Fitting instructions are also included.
On these models, there is a 6 piece sound deadening kit under the moulded footwells. Most MGF's leak water, so before ordering your new carpet, may we suggest that you peel your original carpet away from the bodywork in front and behind the seats to inspect for water damage to these insulation pieces. We can offer you a new insulation kit if required. (Part no. RP1109) To fit these carpets, you will need to remove the seats, the rear "T" bar and cubby boxes. It is not necessary to remove any of the centre console section. A Torx no. 50 spanner, a Philips, a flat screwdriver and some contact adhesive are the only items you require to fit this set. We estimate a fitting time of no longer than 3 hours to complete the job.
