Product Description
MGB Hood Cover
The Packaway type hood featured a grey 2 part frame and was designed to be removed from the car and stowed in the boot when not in use. It was standard factory fitment on cars between 1962 and 1970.
The Deluxe hood was offered as a factory option on cars from the same period and its frame (also grey) used the same mounting points as the Packaway hood. Its design however allowed it to be folded into the rear cockpit area when not in use.
Colours other than black are available to special order, with or without header rail, with either fixed or zip out rear window. Please enquire.
Two types of hood were fitted to cars between 1971 and 1980. Originally, cars up to September 1976 were fitted with a hood that featured a fixed rear window whereas September 1976 on models featured a zipped rear window which allowed for greater ventilation.
Both types of hood were fitted to the same black folding frame which means they are interchangeable.
Colours other than black are available to special order, with or without header rail, with either fixed or zip out rear window. Please enquire.
