MGF and MG TF Front Brakes
Two different sizes of front brake disc are used on the MGF and MG TF, depending on model. Both sizes of disc are ventilated. 240mm diameter discs combined with single pot sliding calipers are the standard items, found on most cars, whereas the MGF Trophy, MG TF 160 and MG TFs with the factory Sportpack 2 option use 304mm discs with 4 pot calipers. A car originally wearing 240mm discs may only be fitted with 304mm items if the calipers are also exchanged for the 4 pot type.
Only one brake design is used on the rear of MGFs and MG TFs, being solid, unventilated discs with single pot sliding calipers.
Uprated discs are direct replacements for the original items on the car, fitting without the need for further modifications.

Turbo Groove discs are premium-made products, X-ray inspected, balanced and machined to exacting standards. The gold zinc-plate finish improves appearance and helps prevent corrosion in areas not swept by the pad.
