Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for?
After 20 years the Alarm Sounder will succumb to old age, a faulty circuit board or the rechargeable batteries will fail, this will cause the alarm to go off at any time, including when you are driving it! Disconnect the 12v battery, grind off the two securing bolts (you can take off whats left with a pair of grips) swing the alarm sounder to the left so you can access the small bolt holding it on, disconnect the lead and it the reverse of this to put the new one in. A 15 minute job!
