Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for? After some time blaming the springy pencil device in the steering wheel for intermittent horn operation I finally proved the problem was actually caused by the LOWER universal joint in the steering column. This earth lead is designed to bridge the upper (rubber) universal joint but does a good job on the lower one too.
