Triumph TR6 Goodridge Brake and Clutch Hoses
The problem of spongy feeling brakes may well be caused by old hoses, which, having lost their strength, begin to expand under pressure. To stop it, simply replace the hoses with stainless steel braided equivalents. The steel braiding constricts the hose and stops expansion forcing fluid all the way down into the calipers and cylinders giving a firmer pedal. The same theory also applies to the clutch hose which is also worth replacing. The braided hoses look good too!
