Product Description
Triumph TR2-5 Headlamps
By general rule of thumb, RH steering TR2s, TR3s, TR3As and some TR4s were originally fitted with BPF (pre-focus) lamp units and bulbs; LH steering models used P45T units and bulbs. Later TR4s, TR4As and TR5s used sealed beam units for RH steering and a choice (depending on local regulations) of sealed beam or P45T units for LH steering. TR250s only ever used sealed beam units. If you wish to upgrade your headlamps to Tripod (for classic 60s style) or Halogen (for modern practicality and safety), they are listed separately after the original fitment lamps. Be sure when you upgrade that you have the correct harnesses and connectors... Models up to and including early TR4s used headlamp mounting ‘buckets’ of the 3 adjuster type; subsequent cars used a different design set up with only 2 adjusters.
