Triumph TR5-250 Cylinder Head Rebuild Kit - 6 Cylinder
Identifying which cylinder head is on your engine should be fairly straight forward with the TR250. Assuming you have a TR250 engine in your car, the original TR250 cylinder head is the only head that will work on your engine. Not so straight forward with the TR5. Unless you know for sure it still has its original TR5 cylinder head, it could conceivably have a later TR6 item fitted and you will need to identify which head it has before ordering a cylinder head rebuild kit. Identification is achieved by looking at the head casting number: 308351 is the original head casting for the TR5 and early TR6, while 312388 and V3298 are later TR6 castings.
The cylinder head rebuild kit contains everything you need to recondition your cylinder head. We assume you will have any required machining done. The exhaust valves in the kit are lead-free compatible, but please note that TR5 injection cars also require a Bosch fuel pump and a modified metering unit for unleaded application.
