Triumph TR2-4A Short Engine Rebuild Kit
This kit contains everything you need to recondition your short engine. We assume you will have all machining done as required.
IMPORTANT - Piston and liner sets, bearing sets and thrust washer sets are supplied in standard size. Please advise specific sizes required at time of ordering.
Set of 4 pistons and liners (state size required eg + 0.020" oversize)
Main and big end bearing shells (state size required eg + 0.010" oversize)
Thrust washers (state size required eg + 0.005" oversize)
Head gasket set
Timing cover oil seal
Crankshaft rear oil seal
Sump gasket set
Oil pressure relief valve spring (choice of Purolator or Tecalemit)
Cam follower set
Timing chain tensioner

In addition to the rebuild kits, the engine section of this catalogue lists all the other parts that you might want to buy, such as engine studs, cylinder head nuts, water pump etc.
Owners of TR3s with engines prior to TS13052E - i.e. with low port head and H6 carburetters - should purchase short engine rebuild kit part no. RF4013RBK along with low port manifold gaskets part no. 106937 (order two off) to replace the high port items contained in the kit.
