Although outwardly it appears at first glance that all Stromberg CD150 carb's fitted to Triumph Spitfires are 'one and the same', closer examination shows this not to be the case. In fact, there were a great number of specification changes - many are not documented, which makes the task of listing replacement parts (accurately) very difficult. It is also possible that at some time the previous owner(s) may not have replaced 'like for like'. There have been occasions when a non-Triumph spec' Stromberg has been adapted & fitted after undergoing various DIY modifications, including the splitting of a pair of carbs to make one single!
We stock a great deal of replacement parts & service kits (we also have access to factory stocks) for the Stromberg CD150, but we need the identification number of the carb fitted to your vehicle. This will also show if you have the correct one fitted. Every Stromberg carb has a unique 4-digit specification number (ie 3427) stamped either on a brass or aluminium tag, or on the actual carb body. Once we have identified the Carb spec number, and we know your full vehicle details (model, year, engine & chassis number) we should be able to supply the parts/service kits listed here.
