Sales Advisor (2 Positions Available)
Lincoln · Full-Time · £Competitive

Are you ready to join a legend?

For decades, the names Moss, Rimmer Bros and SNG Barratt have been the backbone of the classic car movement. We are the custodians of motoring history, keeping Triumphs, MGs, Jaguars, Land Rovers and Rovers alive on the roads across the globe.

Today, as MPG, we have united these iconic brands under one roof in Lincoln. We aren't just a company; we are a piece of automotive heritage. We are looking for a Sales Advisor who doesn't just want a job, but wants to become part of that legacy.

The Role

This is a fast paced, challenging, and incredibly rewarding role. We are looking for a high-energy individual who takes genuine pride in their work. You will be the voice and helping hand for our passionate B2C customer base, ensuring every interaction—whether phone, email or in person—reflects the quality of the parts we sell.

You will report to the Sales Teams Leader and work collaboratively to smash departmental targets. But more than that, you will take ownership. We want someone who can spot an opportunity, suggest new strategy, and isn't afraid to share their ideas to help us and our customers win.

Key responsibilities:

  • Drive Sales: Achieve and exceed your personal targets by proactively selling and building relationships with B2C customers.
  • Own The Customer Journey: Take full ownership of customer inquiries and managed accounts, providing accurate cost calculations and quotations with speed and precision.
  • Be The Expert: Respond to incoming inquiries via telephone and email. Gain a deep understanding of customer requirements to provide the right part, first time.
  • Champion Quality: Uphold our organisational standards to deliver a unique and excellent customer experience. Be transparent and honest in every decision.
  • Expand the Brand: Represent MPG at trade exhibitions and events. Work with Sales Director to suggest new products or ranges that our customers want to see.
  • Collaborate: Work alongside associated departments (Warehousing, Purchasing) to ensure the customer journey is seamless.
  • Stay Sharp: Maintain professional knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and attending team meetings to share best practices with colleagues.

Who Are You?

You are a dedicated, ethical, and determined individual. You can bring a "can-do" attitude and a high level of enthusiasm to work every day. You are transparent in your decision making and take pride in your work.

The Skills That Drive You:

  • Sales DNA: Proven experience in sales role with a knack for building new business.
  • Tech Savvy: Competent with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Communication Pro: Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self Starter: Ability to use your own initiative and work collaboratively as a team player.

The X-Factor:

A technical knowledge of Land Rover, Triumph, MG, Jaguar, or Rover is a massive plus, but a genuine passion for the classic car world is a non-negotiable. If you love the smell of oil and the history of British motoring, you'll fit right in.

Why MPG Lincoln?

You aren't just joining a company; you are joining a legacy. You'll be surrounded by experts who share your passion, working in a supportive environment where your success is our success. We work with all our employees to support their individual requirements and help them thrive in their role.

MPG Lincoln is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.

Customer Service Executive
Lincoln · Full-Time · £Competitive

A Natural Convergence. A Shared Passion.

Different starting points, different stories, but the same destination ahead. In the world of classic motoring, journeys are measured not just in miles, but in decades of accumulated knowledge, trust-built part by part, and a relentless drive to keep cherished cars on the road.

That's where you come in. As part of the MPG group, Mossrimmer unites the legendary heritage of Moss Europe and Rimmer Bros—bringing together enthusiasts, rare parts, and a global community that refuses to let automotive history fade. We're looking for a Customer Service Executive to join our Lincoln hub and help us deliver the swift, seamless aftersales experience our customers deserve.

The Role

This isn't just a desk job. You'll be the central cog that keeps everything moving smoothly. Working closely alongside our sales team, you'll ensure that the customer journey—from order fulfilment to final delivery—meets the high standards expected of a world-class classic parts specialist.

Your day-to-day will be varied and hands-on. You'll be the friendly, knowledgeable voice taking phone calls and responding to emails, handling everything from general enquiries to complex delivery issue resolution. You'll liaise directly with multiple courier partners to unpick delivery challenges, contact customers regarding failed card transactions or shipping cost adjustments, and investigate missing or delayed orders until a satisfactory resolution is found. Crucially, you'll act as the bridge between the customer and the sales floor, feeding back insights and ensuring every loose end is tied up.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Handling inbound customer calls and managing email correspondence with genuine enthusiasm.
  • Resolving customer complaints with tenacity, turning frustration into satisfaction.
  • Proactively contacting customers regarding payment issues, stock shortages, or shipping updates.
  • Investigating delivery issues deeply, coordinating with couriers, and clearly reporting outcomes to both the sales team and the customer.
  • Managing order fulfilment processes to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.

Who Are You?

You don't need to be a classic car expert (though a love of cars helps). You do need to be the kind of person who is prepared to go the extra mile. When faced with a logistical puzzle or a disappointed customer, you don't back down—you demonstrate tenacity and a positive, problem-solving mindset.

We're looking for a process-driven team player with excellent communication and organisational skills. You understand that in a parts business, getting the right component to the right person on time is what builds trust for decades. You'll thrive in our Lincoln office, feeding off the energy of a close-knit team dedicated to the same goal: keeping iconic cars on the road.

Why Join MPG?

By joining us, you're not just taking a customer service job; you're becoming part of a larger legacy backed by the strength of MPG. We're investing in stock, supply chain resilience, and long-term growth . You'll be working alongside people who share your commitment to quality and service, ensuring that the parts, advice, and enthusiasm we provide remain exactly where they've always been right here, ready to keep the classics moving.

Benefits:

  • Company Pension
  • Free Parking
  • Discounted Gym Membership
  • Store Discount
