Shop and Sales Counter
Our pre-paid ‘Click & Collect’ service remains operational, but we do require at least 2.5 hours’ notice
prior to collection. This is to allow the order to be processed in our system, picked by our warehouse team and prepared for you. Please respect the 2.5 hour policy as we need this time in order to protect our on site skeleton staff and to work within safety guidelines. Please call ahead (01522 568000) before setting out and for further details of how to collect.
Our Shop and Sales Counter area is open for a maximum of 3 visitors at a time to pick up pre-paid 'Click & Collect' orders only. Please wear a face covering/mask, use the hand gel on entry and follow the one way system in place. We remain closed to walk-in customers
who have not pre-ordered for the moment.
Despatch & Delivery
As the Covid-19 challenges continue (due to volumes experienced & the operational changes we have had to make to ensure we maintain the safety of our staff), we are currently despatching UK Standard
orders within 2-3 days. Standard
Export 3-4 days.
Due to carrier capacity issues, priority orders are not guaranteed.
Priority orders have about an 80% chance of arriving within the usual timescales.
Returns will take longer to process due to extended transit times and a delayed processing time for hygiene reasons. All returns must be pre-authorised with a returns authorisation (RA) number.
Carriers are experiencing a massive increase in volumes (some more than their capacity) and delays will be inevitable. All international Airmail has been affected by the lack of international flights. This has lead to increased surcharge costs and delays. A significant amount of the worlds Airmail (small packets) is currently travelling by sea container. For most countries outside the EU we have removed Airmail as a shipping option to avoid delays + disappointment.
There is currently a slight increase in flights, so mail is starting to move by plane, quicker, however in-country backlogs are causing long delivery delays.
i.e Mail to Australia is only being accepted via Sydney and Melbourne causing delays up to 7 weeks.
If we re-instate the Airmail option to these countries, we will have to add the hefty surcharges currently being made, this would then equate to the same cost as a carrier service. We will therefore continue to only offer a carrier service to these destinations for the short-term future.
