Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for? This is the part that needed to replace the rather ‘gungy’ breather on my V8. It is the correct part for the job. It is just a fire trap and you will need a valve in the line if connecting to the carburettor for positive (suction) ventilation. It does not come with an o ring. This was a slight disappointment as you will certainly want to replace that when you fit this.
