Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for? The top, longer springs had ends too big to fit the shoes properly. Had to cut 3mm of each end to make them fit.

Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for? Had to dress the ends of the brake retaining springs so that the springs sat square on the shoe when in place. The problem was the sharp point on the end of the spring. which I assume was there from the maufacturing process. Easily to address by fettling the end of the spring with a file. Hence only 4 star instead of 5. Fitted well after dressing the ends.
