Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for? For a TVR VIxen 1300 overdrive gearbox conversion. Looks like it will be a challenge to fit as needs a thread cutting to fit the modified gear lever and needs drilling for the cable access. A touch pricey for what you get, but I guess it's a rare part. Would have been much cheaper and easier to adapt a standard gear knob with a commercial switch or fit a dashboard mounted switch. However it is authentic for the gearbox.
