Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for? Fitted nicely on my Freelander 04 - difficult access to the bonnet catch plate though - needed to remove the front bumper and release the top radiator mounting to move it towards the engine - this gave access to drill out the rivets and the catch plate dropped out - easy from then on - all a bit time consuming - Hynes Manual had good advice.
