Channel extension needs redesigning

Overall this seal works. The seal fits the frame forks nicely, however, the channel extension which fits underneath the front edge of the frame needs redesigning. Its too soft and flimsy. That extension piece is too narrow because when the frame sits down onto the seal the side lips fold under the frame instead of staying in place. The only answer for me was to glue the upper edge of this channel to the under side edge of the lower frame weatherstrip. Not ideal. Cost for this item very competitive, but I would extra for a seal which fits first time without glueing to secure. MGB Roadster 1974
