Did this item work well with your project? What vehicle type are you using this for? Arrived yesterday so haven't tried installing yet. However, first impressions straight out of the box (Note it was well packed), it has a poor quality matte black finish that will need stripping off completely and repainting the proper original smooth satin black. Disappointing and straight off feels like it makes a mockery of the Stanpart name. Even comes with a big Stanpart sticker on the box and a small, half falling off, sticker on the tank itself. Alas... Stanpart stickers don't make it a Stanpart item. Also stamped on the box 'made in Taiwan'. I naively assumed it would be UK made in line with the Stanpart name. It'll be interesting to see how well it fits and how long it lasts compared with an original item. At this point in time I've given it 3 stars as I'm giving the ta k itself the benefit of doubt that it'll be a good fit and will not leak!
